Ready to get a little dirty?
Unbeknownst to many, our cellar team is classically trained in traditional winemaking. Their formative years were spent in the classrooms of prestigious universities and the caves of acclaimed producers from around the world. They eventually settled here, in beautiful Northern California, to pursue their dreams of crafting Bordeaux wines at the ultimate level...then we got ahold of them.
And though we have helped each other explore all of our winemaking fetishes here in the safe, sacred walls of Tank Garage Winery, the truth is, that burning lust for Cabernet Sauvignon never went away. In fact, it only intensified.
Which brings us here, to our latest masterpiece in Bordeaux winemaking: Talk Dirty to Me. This Sonoma County blend brings together Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and a hit of Syrah into a beautifully aromatic symphony of flavors and textures. For this blend, we turned to Sonoma for its maritime-influenced climate and volcanic, loamy soils. These factors help create Bordeaux wines with slightly higher acidity and gorgeously sexy red fruit flavors.
Deep ruby-red in color, aromas of fresh red cherries, wild blackberries, and rose petals pour from the glass. On the palate, this blend presents a medium to full-bodied texture, framed by structured yet approachable tannins. Flavors of black cherries, ripe red plum, and chocolate raspberry cake are balanced by refreshing acidity, leading to nuances of dried herbs and sage. The long-lingering finish carries those rich fruit and earthy notes into an ever-so-satisfying climax.
So while many associate the Bordeaux style with the old and conventional world of wine, we are here to remind you that your love for flavors this erotically delicious is a kink in its own right. And we're here to own every last drop of it.
For the artwork, we borrowed from our beloved realm of punk rock to create a label that evokes just the right amount of danger and naughtiness. After removing some gold safety pins from a vintage hardcore jacket, we scattered them over a sharpied request to anybody who loves Cabernet Sauvignon out there: Talk Dirty to Me.
