Here, we feature a vintage photograph from the 1940s of Tank co-owner James Harder’s maternal grandparents holding his mother shortly after her birth up north. Napa Valley is the epicenter of the United States wine world. It’s one of the most unique places to grow grapes in the entire world. We know you know this. But what doesn’t get celebrated enough is the amazing range of terroir and place. Here, we took valley floor Cabernet Sauvignon and paired it with high elevation Merlot and Syrah from Atlas Peak. This marriage unravels into smooth, intense flavors with elegant nuances of smoke and BBQ spice.
