California Red Wine

Southern Rhône meets Southern California in our groovy take on Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The main character of our blend, Counoise, is a dark-skinned grape grown primarily in the Rhône Valley of France. Ours comes from Sonoma County and has some seriously beautiful aromas of black licorice, pepper, cloves, wild berries and leather. Fun flavors and silky layers make Montrose as cool and easy to love as its label. 

Quietly tucked away on Honolulu Avenue, you'll find the legendary Montrose Bowl. The red vinyl seats, neon aqua walls and lack of electronic scoreboards instantly send you back to the 1950s. Perfectly maintained, its undeniable retro charm makes it a favorite spot amongst Los Angeles locals, celebrities and even a popular location shoot for many films, including “Teen Wolf” (1985), “Frankie and Johnny” (1991), and most recently Clint Eastwood’s “Jersey Boys” (2014).
