There's nowhere in the world quite like our golden state of California, and we thought it was high time we give back to the place we hold so near and dear. We teamed up with our friends at Parks Project and the California State Parks Foundation for this anthem to our home state, and as part of our Tank Cares initiative, we're donating $1 for every bottle sold to the California State Parks Foundation.
The incredible California State Parks system contains close to 300 parks spanning from mountains to forests to beaches and deserts plus over one million artifacts. Designed with a vintage road trip vibe, the label highlights the various icons of our amazing state – from redwoods to Joshua trees, golden bears, and of course, the golden poppy. "I Love You, California" is the regional anthem of the U.S. state of California, originally released in 1913. The original album artwork features a bear holding the state of CA.
If you haven't noticed, we've been digging hard on the classic Italian varietals lately. Sangiovese, the most widely planted varietal in Italy, brings bright red fruit notes like raspberry and maraschino cherry to this blend, while the touch of Sagrantino gives structure and depth. We won't mince words here, Sagrantino is one of the most tannic grapes in the entire world and a little bit goes a long way. Representing just 5% of this blend, it gives our Sangiovese a balanced tannic structure that makes this wine more complete. This medium-bodied red perfectly captures the sun-kissed vibes of summer and will leave you daydreaming of your next road trip down Hwy 1.

We'll always love you, California.
