Inspired by punk, funk, country and rock music from the early-‘80s, this summertime jam features an iPhone photograph of some graffiti street art one of our owners discovered on a trip to Bogota, Colombia in 2013.
Again on that white blend riff, we wanted to make a rounder, softer, quaffable white wine. There are soft stone fruit flavors typically in Grenache Blanc, but not a mean or acidic streak in her. So Roussane is added to give it a little ‘drop of acid’. No not that kind of “dropping acid”. Also the Roussanne adds some structure a backbone. The Grenache Blanc is Dolly Parton and the Roussane is Loretta Lynn. The combination is one bad ass country girl that likes to have fun and takes no shit from anyone. You got some white peach, nectarine and hints of herbal tea.
As she was, indeed.
